Course Description
The focus of this nationally recognised qualification is to provide students with an entry-level course that offers the foundation skills and knowledge to use information and communications technology (ICT) in any industry. This vocational subject will provide students with a highly practical option to their studies.
Students will be required to undertake 14 competencies that will include them using a range of 21st century tools and technologies. Students will have exposure to social media, digital media & web development applications, along with gaining access and use to a variety of sophisticated hardware technologies (like digital and video cameras) to create highly professional, industry standard products. Careers/Further Study
This is a dynamic course that endeavors to develop skills such as teamwork, communication and problem solving within students. It suitably prepares participants for further studies at a tertiary level, in particular at a vocational training provider.
