Food Technology
Café style restaurants and regular dining out at these establishments has become extremely popular in recent years. This course examines many aspects of the café menu including coffee and cakes, entrées and appetisers, main courses and mouth watering desserts. Students will be given the opportunity to develop their food preparation skills and learn new and exciting trends in food styling techniques. Through the use of the technology process, students are encouraged to develop their own café meals, which demonstrate their knowledge of menu planning and current food trends.
