Course Description
The focus for this unit is to explore the developments in digital technologies by analysing its impact on how we live and work in today’s society.
Students will gain exposure to a range of 21st century technologies and applications that will equip them well for the future. They will be required to partake in a range of simulated client driven situations that will compel them to think creatively to develop solutions that meet a design brief and a specific target audience.
Students will gain experience in using a range of technologies and applications that include web and application design and development, multimedia, networking, computer systems, data management, disaster recovery management, and many others.Furthermore, the course will provide students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills of digital technologies in order to use them in a more responsible and informed manner.
