The Year 7 term long unit is designed to give students a taste and an experience of music. It involves Music technology projects where the students will work with music and video clips. Using Logic Pro X, and Garage Band they will learn how to mix audio loops into a musical track and add video clips to reflect their music score.

Students will play and sing songs from the 60s to more contemporary genres. They will learn how to compose songs by looking at form, melody, rhythm and harmony (chords) and also learn simple songs on the piano/keyboard and guitar.

The course is designed to give the students an enjoyable experience in music.
