YEAR 8 DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES OVERVIEW

Prerequsite: Nil

Students learning in Digital Technologies focuses on developing understanding and skills in computational thinking such as decomposing problems and prototyping; and engaging students with a wider range of information systems as they broaden their experiences and involvement in the digital world.

Students will have numerous opportunities to create a range of digital solutions, such as interactive web applications, multimedia assets along with operating in a simulated environment. This course will continue to enhance student digital literacy by exposing them to a range of programming technologies and languages, thus better preparing our students for the future.
